Edward de Bono (1933–2021) was a Maltese physician, psychologist, and author best known for developing the concept of lateral thinking. A pioneer in creative thinking and innovation, he wrote over 60 books, including Six Thinking Hats and Lateral Thinking, which have influenced education, business, and government worldwide. His work focused on teaching people how to think more effectively and creatively.
