Lemur Dreams

This is the story of how a scientist who has studied lemurs for decades became interested in the new discovery that a little dwarf lemur from Madagascar (a primate) hibernates for several months a year. He and his colleagues pursued the question of how they manage to survive.The book takes the reader through the steps a researcher goes through, from an initial question to finding a way to answer it. In the process, the potential for application to human medicine is explored.
