Paula Scher

Paula Scher is considered the most influential graphic designer of her generation.Since the 1970s she has stood for innovative and uncompromising design.In 1991, she became a partner in the New York office of the design consultancy Pentagram.For her exhibition at Die Neue Sammlung - The Design Museum, she has designed an artist's book with 101 removable posters from her entire oeuvre.By sequencing them in the book, the halves of two different posters reveal a new motif on each double spread.Thus, the book offers a whole new way to experience the creativity, humour, and versatility of this unique graphic designer.Published on occasion of the exhibition 'Paula Scher - Type is Image', 23 Jun 2023 - 22 Sep 2024, Die Neue Sammlung, Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich.Binding note: this book is unbound.
