Midlife Emergence

Midlife Emergence reveals the twisting, heart-breaking-wide-open story of the author's own midlife journey, as well as guides the reader through questions to consider as she seeks to unfurl into the most free and authentic version of herself. Her story unfolds chapter by chapter, detailing how she stepped through every portal presented during my own precarious midlife transition. At the end of each chapter, the author tangibly invites the reader into creative, self-inquiry practices as touchstones along her path to become more herself in the second half of her life. These are soulful invitations for the reader to explore universal aspects of her own midlife journey through theme-specific journaling, movement, art, and personal ceremony. The message of the book is that midlife offers a unique opportunity for deep self-reflection and radical truth-telling and reckoning as we soulfully design the second half of life to be in full alignment with our integrity.
