Wessex Landscapes

The author's third collection of poetry is inspired by the natural world. On this journey, she takes the reader through six National Landscapes in the Wessex area of south-west England, starting with the Quantock Hills, travelling through Cranborne Chase and the North Wessex Downs, Dorset and the Blackdown Hills, and ending with the Mendip Hills. Along the way, she finds some rich connections with celebrated poets, and in addition to her own poems she has delved into the lives of well-known poets who have also been inspired by these landscapes. The resulting illustrated volume of original poetry will be a delightful read for those who have a love of the natural beauty of the English countryside.
