Silence the Lion

This book shares the story of my husband's miraculous one-day freedom from twenty years of substance abuse. It combines our personal testimony with reflections and prompts for self-examination, guiding readers to find their own path to freedom rather than prescribing steps. Addiction is referred to as "The Lion," likened to Daniel in the den, helping readers see it as an enemy from Satan, separate from their identity. Each chapter features a biblical scripture, aiming to help those struggling with addiction find freedom by discovering their true identity, surrendering to Christ, and overcoming shame, bitterness, and unforgiveness.
