Devil

In the beginning, there was only Him: all powerful, all knowing, and all alone. He has nothing to love and nothing to hate-yet. And then He said, "Let there be light," and Bechoriel was born with the dawn of the first day. As His first child explodes into existence, suddenly He is not alone anymore. Bechoriel, who immediately overcomes a heavy internal burden to become unwaveringly devoted to his creator, watches as his master creates the physical universe, heaven, and the heavenly host of angels. When a man is created in the Garden of Eden, Bechoriel curiously observes him and wonders if his existence will change the natural order of the planet. Not long after he learns the story of Adam and Eve from his heavenly brother Gabriel, Bechoriel is labelled a snake by Eve. Still, he defends humanity's progenitors against forces that will reduce them to blind servitude. After he moves to Uz to protect Job, Bechoriel finally faces his creator in human guise. Devil: The Fallen Son shares the trials and suffering of the first creation of God as he struggles in a battle between good and evil and realizes the tragic consequences of his heroic intentions.
