Ringed on three sides by more affluent suburbs, and hemmed in by urban sprawl, Westfield, New York had become "No Town" - the place that time forgot - until Coach Angelo "Fish" Fischetti and his woebegone Westfield Wildcats decided that it was just about time that people remembered. With little regard for the rules and even less for the consequences, Fish leads his ragtag pack of "Mildcats" on an epic journey to restore Westfield's wounded pride and rebuild his own tarnished reputation.
