The original stories of Joel Chandler Harris and his whimsical critters have slowly dimmed from our view, if not disappeared completely. Oh, I certainly hope not. If so, then accept this meager effort to recapture, if only for the moment, the magic that belongs to childhood curiosoty, anticipation and the wonder of delightful silliness, as our friends slueth the case of missing blueberry pies... There are lessons to be learned, characters perceived, with misunderstood and questionable motives that need pondering. Most of all, there is a keen precept to adopt. Life's challenges are, and will be many. Never give in, never give up. As Winston Churchill would say, KBO my friend, "Keep Buggering On!"
