Thank You, Father

Have you ever noticed the way your mood lightens when you choose to notice the blessings around you? Scripture calls us, many times over, to be thankful, even to offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving. When we take the time to notice and name the many blessings surrounding us, we experience what Philippians 4:7 calls "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding." Having been a teacher of elementary age children, and raising five children of her own, Bryn saw the need for children to learn how to be intentional with gratitude. By teaching children to be noticers of the good, they focused on the good, looking for the best in one another and their circumstances. The children became more resilient, looking for the positive in struggles as they arose. This powerful shift was due to their choice to notice, to embrace intentional gratitude. Each page has a short phrase of gratitude, coupled with a scripture and illustration. This creates a springboard for conversations about noticing good all around them, learning scripture, and so much more. This picture book for young readers is an opportunity, an invitation to a life full of intentional gratitude.
