Topics covered include the origins of the Cold War, its globalization through events in Europe and Asia and culminating in the Cuban Missle Crisis, the period of detente that followed before futher escalation of tensions, aand the end of the Cold War in the 1980's. Includes documents, sources and questions to analyze key issues.
