Poland's EU Accession

This book examines the process of Poland's accession negotiations to the European Union between 1998-2003. Unlike other books on the subject which focus on the outcome of negotiations, or which view the process as a foreign policy issue, this book, based on extensive original research including interviews with participants, concentrates on the negotiations from a Polish perspective, showing how the interplay of domestic forces greatly affected the negotiations.
