Outliving the Undead

A small group of strangers bound together by circumstance and, led by novice zombie fighter, J.D heads for the mountains of Montana in search of sanctuary. Along the way, they fight the living and the dead while trying to find a safe place to live. JD uses her crossbow to level the playing field while trying to get from Florida to Montana in a world that's gone crazy. She finds more than she bargained for in Mason, an ex-Navy seal she met in a pet store in Texas who only wants her heart as they carve out a tiny piece of heaven before the wilderness decides differently.
