Dark
The story of the dog and sea
(Author) Bal JeodigiLighter was a powerful smiling spirit dog whose acrobatic skills kept growing. His master provided care and Lighter felt the happiest being in the world. His second birthday had come and his master organized every detail of the party, where not only the friends of his master were invited but also their dogs as well. Lighter was surrounded on all sides by friends, but the most precious part of that circle was his master. All the participants of that party were delighted by the performances Lighter offered by jumping in the air, but his attention was focused only on the eyes of his master. That was the day Lighter's life extended indefinitely. Not even twenty-four hours would pass and Lighter, bloodied and powerless, would find himself falling over the craggy rocks towards the wild and merciless sea, without any possibility of going ashore. Lighter will face extreme limits of survival and his life will be in danger, meanwhile he will be tormented by the most important question of his life: why did he end up in that situation? Looking for this answer and with no certainty about his future, Lighter would realize that there was nothing left of his former character inside him. The character would not be his only change; as long as he could live, he would carry a memory on his shoulders that would help him never fall again into the trap of naivety. Dark is a tale for adults, the essence of which is to emphasize the importance of respecting every aspect of life for every living being, as well as for ourselves, in order to achieve a fragile balance where, on the one hand, not to abuse with all the good things we receive from every resident of our large blue sphere neighborhood, and on the other hand, to show more vigilance whenever we have to choose between love and ourselves, even though in most cases, love is the right choice.
