A Penny a Fish and a Penneth of Chips

This is the life story of Emmie Ashfield, born in Tipton, part of The Black Country in 1924. Emmie wanted to share her life growing up in the slums, to living through World War II, to becoming landlady of The Oss Shoes pub in Ocker Hill and celebrating her 100th birthday on January 5th 2024. This book also includes other small stories of her life that she wanted to share. Emmie is loved by all her family and friends, family is everything to her.
