When I first started dating my British man, I never gave a second thought about differences in language and culture. Why would I? After all, we Americans speak English, or do we...? As dating quickly turned into being engaged to, and then getting married to my British gentleman, I also found that our common language and culture was a quirky, eye-opening, and highly amusing roller-coaster ride.
