A.E. Dyson (1928–2002) was a British literary critic, academic, and co-founder of Critical Quarterly. Renowned for his works on Shakespeare, Dickens, and modern poetry, Dyson also advocated for social reform, contributing to the decriminalization of homosexuality in the UK.
